Now Hiring Summer Day Camp Counselors

Worth Township Youth Commission is now accepting applications for Summer Day Camp Counselors for the 2022 Program.

Applicants must be 16 years old or older. Must be able to work all six weeks of camp. (June 27th – August 5th from 8:30am –  to approximately 3:30pm – must be flexible as some field trips may be an earlier drop-off or later pick up for our campers) along with staff training (June 13th, June 14th, and June 15th from 3:30pm – 8:00pm) for training and certification of American Red Cross First Aid and CPR along with township policies and procedures. If you have a family vacation planned during our six-week program, please do not apply.

Must posses a current valid driver’s license or state ID along with a social security card.

Must pass Illinois State Police Background Check.
Must be honest, dependable, prompt, respectful, energetic, positive, patient, love children and be able to follow directions by all supervisors.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
Must be a positive role model and be flexible with daily schedules and tasks as things may come up unexpectedly.

Rate of pay is $13.00 per hour.
