The Highway District is responsible for unincorporated areas of the Township, which include: Austin View,
Bluecrest, Garden Homes, Kedzie Commons, Navajo Gardens, and Palos Gardens. We provide a variety of services including the maintenance of storm sewers, culverts, ditches, and curbs; preventative maintenance of roads; as well as snow and ice removal. APPLICATIONS & PERMITS
Application For Construction Waiver (PDF)
This form must be filled out and submitted to the Highway Department for most home repairs or updates on personal property in Unincorporated Worth Township. There is no fee for this application.
Application for Construction Permit (PDF)
This form must be filled out and submitted to the Highway Department for any new construction, any cement work, or any work done on a homeowner’s driveway if the property is in Unincorporated Worth Township. There is a $25 fee that must be submitted by check, made payable to Worth Township.
