Worth Township Launches Monthly E-Newsletter
Worth Township has started a monthly newsletter that goes out electronically to more than 11,000 residents and growing in the twelve communities that encompass the township boundaries. The new email newsletter will supplement the printed newsletter that began in the fall of 2021.
“We promised to go green when this administration took office and we are keeping that promise,” explained Township Supervisor Patricia Joan Murphy. The township has so much to offer, and we want residents to stay in touch with us to take advantage of the many important services available.”
For those unfamiliar with township government, we offer services in the areas of property taxes, voter registration, election services, general assistance for those without income or resources, energy assistance for low-income households, passports, youth programs and senior services.
Worth Township covers an area of 32.23 square miles, with twelve villages or towns within those boundaries and just over 152,000 residents. If you want to sign up for the monthly newsletter, go to the township’s website at: worthtownship.com and you will see a pop-up to sign up for emails.
