WELCOME TO THE HIGHWAY DISTRICT
The Highway District is responsible for maintaining the unincorporated areas of the Township, including Austin View, Bluecrest, Garden Homes, Kedzie Commons, Navajo Gardens, and Palos Gardens.
We provide a variety of services such as storm sewer, culvert, ditch, and curb maintenance; preventative road maintenance; and snow and ice removal. If you have questions about our services, please do not hesitate to reach out via the online contact page.

Monday – Thursday: 6:30 am – 2:30 pm
Friday: Employees work remotely
Closed Saturday and Sunday
APPLICATIONS & PERMITS
Application For Construction Waiver (PDF)
This form must be filled out and submitted to the Highway Department for most home repairs or updates on personal property in Unincorporated Worth Township. There is no fee for this application.
Application for Construction Permit (PDF)
This form must be filled out and submitted to the Highway Department for any new construction, any cement work, or any work done on a homeowner’s driveway if the property is in Unincorporated Worth Township. There is a $25 fee that must be submitted by check, made payable to Worth Township.
