The Senior Services Department of Worth Township offers a variety of activities and services for senior citizens. Some of the events that take place are Senior fitness, day trips, bingo, crocheting, foodie clubs and much more! Groups also meet to play pinochle, and canasta. Call to register or stop by the Senior Room to join in on the fun.

SENIOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Worth Township ~ PACE
Worth Township provides curb-to-curb service to seniors ages 55 and older, and adults with disabilities ages 18+ that live within the boundaries of Worth Township. You must be registered to ride the bus. Passengers who are unable to get to and from the bus will require an escort. All caregivers must also be registered.
This service operates Mon – Thurs from 8am – 3pm last pickup is at 2:30pm. We provide service on a first come, first serve basis and reservations should be made 24 hours in advance by calling (708) 972-7075.
Transportation is available for medical and grocery appointments only.
Township Boundaries:
87th Street – 135th Street
Western – Harlem
(Excludes Chicago)
In addition to the Worth Township area, we also provide transportation to Hi-Tech, Palos Hospital, and medical offices on College Dr.
Cost:
$3 each way (exact fare required)
$6 round trip (exact fare required)
$25 10-ride pass ($5 savings)
Cancellations:
Passengers must personally notify the dispatcher of any cancellations as soon as possible. Multiple failures to advise of cancellation will result in a suspension of riding privileges.
Reservations:
Reserve your ride by calling (708) 972-7075 between 8am and noon on the day before you wish to ride the bus.
When given an appointment time, please understand that the driver may arrive up to 15 minutes earlier or later than your scheduled time. It is nearly impossible to schedule with complete accuracy. The nature of our ridership requires patience and flexibility. In addition, we are always at the mercy of the weather. We appreciate your cooperation with scheduling and request you be ready 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Age Requirements:
- 65 years of age or older before January 1 of the current year; or
- You must become 65 years of age this year; or
- You must be 16 years of age or older before January 1 of the current year and qualified as disabled.
Residency Requirements:
- You must live in Illinois at the time you file your application.
Income Requirements:
Income limits are new to January 1, 2020, for license Plate discount and Ride Free Transit Card
*Total income last year must be:
NOTE: *You must include your spouse’s income if married and living together on December 31 of last year. If your spouse died last year, you would file as single and claim only your income.
Disability Requirements:
To qualify as disabled, you must be at least 16 years of age prior to January 1 of the current year and be determined totally and permanently disabled (as defined by program requirements) prior to January 1 of the current year.
