WELCOME TO THE SENIOR TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT

Worth Township provides curb-to-curb service to seniors ages 55 and older, and adults with disabilities ages 18+ that live within the boundaries of Worth Township. You must be registered to ride the bus. Passengers who are unable to get to and from the bus will require an escort. All caregivers must also be registered.

This service operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00am – 3:00pm (closed on Holidays). Last pickup is at 2:30 pm. If your appointment goes beyond 2:30pm, you are responsible for your own transportation home. We provide service on a first come, first serve basis and reservations should be made
by calling (708) 972-7075.

87th Street –135th Street, Western–Harlem (excludes Chicago) In addition to the Worth Township area,
we also provide transportation to Hi-Tech, Palos Hospital, and medical offices on College Dr.

Cost:
$3 each way (exact fare required)
$6 round trip (exact fare required)
$25 10-ride pass ($5 savings)

$3 for any additional stops. Passengers must personally inform the Dispatcher of each stop he/she will be making at the time of booking.
Please do not ask our driver to make unscheduled stops. When given an appointment time, please understand that the driver may arrive
up to 15 minutes earlier or later than your scheduled time. It is nearly impossible to schedule with complete accuracy. The nature of
our ridership requires patience and flexibility. In addition, we are always at the mercy of the weather. We appreciate your cooperation
with scheduling and request you be ready 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled time.

CANCELLATIONS

Passengers must personally notify the dispatcher of any cancellations as soon as possible. Multiple failures to advise
of cancellation will result in a suspension of riding privileges.

GENERAL CONDUCT RULES

Please do not ask the driver to carry packages. You must be able to handle/carry all of your packages without driver assistance.

Always wear seatbelts while riding in Township vehicles. Remain seated until vehicle comes to a complete stop and the driver has
indicated it is safe to exit the vehicle. Those who refuse will forfeit their ride privileges.

No smoking, vaping, eating, or drinking in Township vehicles.

Do not disrupt the driver when they are driving the vehicle, do not make physical/verbal threats to drivers or other passengers,
and no swearing, name calling and/or abusive language.

Please maintain appropriate, reasonable personal hygiene. If riders have open or seeping sores or are leaking bodily fluids, for
health and safety reasons, the Township may refuse service until the situation has been contained or corrected.

The Township retains the right to immediately terminate service to anyone who violates the rules.

Transportation is available for medical and grocery appointments only.
