Important Information
Prescription Drug Take Back Box
Worth Township partners with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office to provide a secure location for residents to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications.
The drop box is located in the main lobby of Worth Township (11601 S. Pulaski Rd., Alsip). No loose pharmaceuticals, liquids, or syringes are accepted.
This service allows residents to dispose of medications safely and anonymously while helping prevent misuse and protect the community.

Apple Tree Program – School Supply Donations
The “Apple Tree” Program helps families facing financial challenges by providing school supplies to children throughout the school year. The Youth Commission accepts school supplies and monetary donations year-round, made possible by the generosity of local residents, businesses, churches, and community groups.

- Washable markers (thin and wide)
- Pens (blue, black, and red)
- Pencils (#2 black lead) and pencil sharpeners
- Erasable pens and red correction pencils
- Highlighters (all colors)
- Pencil erasers (large)
- Pencil bags and plastic school boxes
- Glue sticks and 4 oz. school glue
- Loose-leaf paper and spiral notebooks (wide ruled)
- 3-subject and 5-subject notebooks
